    Jizerské hory

Czech mountains are for me paradox because they do not end up in steep, rocky peaks. They are old mountains and while within them one can find rich forests, lakes, rivers and rare geological formations, the feeling of the peak is often missing. It is as if they keep all their power inside. The so-called Jizerské hory = Giant Mountains have maximum altitude 1126m., meaning that they are not really gigantic. The Mumlava waterfall through, actually evokes the strength of a giant.
